Kuhsaran Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوهساران)[3] is in the Central District of Qaem Shahr County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kutna.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,486 in 1,625 households.[5] There were 5,417 inhabitants in 1,681 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 4,907 in 1,724 households. The most populous of its eight villages was Saru Kola, with 2,402 people.[2]
