Stun Siva (born as V. Siva Kumar in 1970), is an Indian fight master & actor in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada & Telugu cinema industries of India.[5] He made his debut as a fight master in the movie Love Today in 1997.[6] His sons Kevin Kumar & Steven Kumar are also a fight masters.[7]

Career[edit]

Stun Siva initially started his career as a Motorcyle mechanic, then he became acquitted with the fighters & assistant fight masters whom he visited quite often & joined the South Indian Cine & TV Stunt Directors, Stunt Artists Union with the help of his uncle.

He had worked as a fighter to fight masters such as Rambo Rajkumar, FEFSI Vijayan, Vikram Dharma, V. Raja, Judo. K. K. Rathnam, Judo. K. K. Ramu, Rocky Rajesh & Kanal Kannan, later he worked as an assistant fight master to fight masters such as Rambo Rajkumar & Kanal Kannan.

In 1997, he made his debut as a fight master in Love Today.[8] Stun Siva had done both commercially appealing as well as realistic fight scenes, especially he had gained critical acclaim for experiment of realistic fight scenes in movies such as Sethu, Nandha & Pithamagan. In 2000, he had recieved the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Stunt Coordinator for Kannukkul Nilavu.

During his initial career as a fight master, he used to make uncredited appearances & play minor characters in movies, later he became a full fledged actor. In 2019, he had received the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award for Best Villain - Male for Champion.
