George Jacob
George Jacob is an Indian museum designer.[1] He is the President & CEO of Bay Ecotarium in San Francisco.[2]

Jacob was born in Kochi, India. He attended the BITS Pilani for Bachelors in Museum Studies and continued in University of Toronto, graduating with a Masters of Museum Studies in 1996.[1][3] In 2015, he became a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.[4]
In September 2014, he became the first president and CEO of the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum. In October 2016, Jacobs was let go due to financial difficulties.[5]
In 2018, he proposed a $260 million renovation of the Aquarium of the Bay into the Climate Resilience and Ocean Conservation Living Museum in San Francisco, with Jill Biden delivering the keynote.[6]
He serves on the Board of Directors of California Travel Association,[7] International Council of Museums (ICOM USA) and ICOM-ICTOP (International Committee on Training of Museum Professionals).[8]
As of 2019[update], Jacobs has been involved in over 100 museums and exhibits.[5]
He is currently the President & CEO of Bay Ecotarium in San Francisco.[2]
