Qasem Kandi (Persian: قاسم كندي)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Pain Barzand Rural District of the Central District of Germi County, Ardabil province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 660 in 140 households, when it was in Angut District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 519 people in 143 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 494 people in 154 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In September 2019, the rural district was transferred to the Central District.[7]
