Gowharan (Persian: گوهران), also Romanized as Gowharān; also known as Gohrwan and Gyuravan,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Gowharan Rural District of the Central District of Khoy County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,173 in 528 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,449 people in 637 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,557 people in 796 households.[2]
