This City Is Ours is an upcoming BBC One television drama series set in Liverpool from Stephen Butchard and Left Bank Pictures.

Production[edit]
The eight-part series was commissioned in February 2024. This City Is Ours is set in the city of Liverpool and has been created by writer Stephen Butchard.[1]
Andy Harries of Left Bank Pictures is executive producer, Butchard is lead writer and Robbie McNeill is writing further episodes. The director is Saul Dibb and the producer is Simon Maloney.[2] In May 2024, Sean Bean was confirmed in the lead role and the cast also includes James Nelson-Joyce, Hannah Onslow, Jack McMullen, Julie Graham, Laura Aikman, Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Darci Shaw.[3]
This City is Ours has filming locations including Liverpooland Spain with filming underway in May 2024.[4]
