Works[edit]

His work often delves into the human experience, using photography as a medium to capture and express stories and emotions of his subjects. In 2021, Aversano garnered attention in the art world for his Twin Flames series, "a photographic exploration of the phenomenology of twins".[2]

Twin Flames[edit]

Debuting in 2018 as a collection of traditional photographs,[3] in 2021 Twin Flames went on to become the first non-fungible token (NFT) lot to be offered in a Photographs auction.[4] Twin Flames #83. Bahareh & Farzaneh, accompanied by Twin Flames Full Physical Collection, 2017-2018 sold at auction for $1.1 million dollars, and is the most expensive photograph NFT ever sold.[5]
