Daurr is a 2023 Pakistani television series based on a novel Eyes on the Prize by Safinah Elahi, directed by Wajahat Rauf and written by Mohsin Ali.[1] It is produced by "Showcase Productions" in association with "Multiverse Entertainment". Daurr revolves around three families whose children attend the same private school. However, he's not loyal to her and has an extra-marital affair with a colleague, Laila. Hina, who is also Laila's sister, wants to climb the social ladder, and nothing matters to her more. Minahil, a mother of two, is haunted by her past and dreams of taking up her career again.[4]

Reception[edit]

Daurr failed to grab viewers attention after initial episodes.[8] Galaxy Lollywood expressed their concerns regarding this and wrote, "It was disheartening to see Daurr's viewership records, especially considering its progressive narrative, such circumstances can undoubtedly serve as a discouragement for individuals striving to introduce captivating and forward-thinking storylines to the world of television".[9][10]

The series received mixed reviews from audiences after the finale episode, with some people appreciating the drama and others expressing their disappointment for a rushed conclusion and leaving behind unanswered questions.[9]
