Qaleh-ye Payan (Persian: قلعه پايان), also Romanized as Qal‘eh-ye Pāyān,^[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Kolbad-e Gharbi Rural District of Kolbad District, Galugah County, Mazandaran province, Iran.^[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,243 in 321 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,275 people in 386 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,168 people in 387 households.^[2]
