Rasheda Begum Hira (born 19 August 1957)[1] is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Bangladesh Parliament from a reserved seat.

Biography[edit]

Education[edit]

She obtained an MA degree from the University of Chittagong in 1981 and an MPhil degree from the University of Rajshahi in 1990. During her student years at the university, she was involved in politics with the Bangladesh Nationalist Student Organization since 1979.[2]

Career[edit]

Hira was elected to parliament from reserved seat as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 2009.[3]
