James Bloom

James Bloom (born 1975) is a British creative director, director and screenwriter who works in television, advertising and interactive entertainment. He is the grandson of Freddy Bloom.

Bloom's screenplays have been among over a hundred finalists in the PAGE Awards and Screencraft Awards.[1][2][3] He is among 51 people who exhibited art at a "works on paper" group art show[4] and he also created an NFT series.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

Bloom has written for The Guardian newspaper.[12][13] He also worked for Wired magazine in the UK.[14]

He worked as a creative at advertising agency Lateral.[15] He played a role in the creation of the digital TV channel PlayJam at Static2358,[15] sold to OpenTV for $59 million.[16]

His comedy viral 'Bass Jump' positioned No. 6 in Go Viral's September 2010 chart.[17]

His comedy film 'Love Your Neighbour' was funded by the British Council,[18] appearing at the Portobello Film Festival.[19]
