Kopanica [kɔpaˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowinka, within Augustów County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) east of Nowinka, 16 km (10 mi) north-east of Augustów, and 94 km (58 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
