Sira (Persian: سيرا), also Romanized as Sīrā and Sirah; also known as Sarāb,[3] was a village in Adaran Rural District of Asara District, Karaj County, Tehran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 296, in 78 households.[2]

In February 2009, the village of Asara merged with the villages of Pol-e Khvab, Rey Zamin, and Sira in the establishment of the new city of Asara.[4] By the 2011 census, Karaj County had become a part of recently established Alborz province.[5]
