Horse Hollow (Ripley County, Missouri)

Horse Hollow is a valley in Ripley County in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

The stream headwaters are at 36°44′23″N 90°58′59″W / 36.73972°N 90.98306°W / 36.73972; -90.98306 and its confluence with Buffalo Creek is at 36°43′18″N 90°58′11″W / 36.72167°N 90.96972°W / 36.72167; -90.96972.[1]

Horse Hollow most likely was named for horses employed in the local lumber industry.[2]
