Mark Raffety is a British-Australian actor, perhaps best known for playing Darcy Tyler in the Australian soap opera Neighbours from 2000 to 2005.

Early life[edit]

Raffety was born in Portsmouth, England. His family emigrated to Australia when he was very young and then moved around a lot between Australia and New Zealand.[1]

Career[edit]

Raffety played Doctor Darcy Tyler in Neighbours. In early 2003, producers decided to write the character out.[2] After leaving Neighbours, Raffety appeared in an episode of the police drama Stingers as a stockbroker.[3]

Raffety has appeared in several films and television series, including The Last Tattoo (1994), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess, The Secret Life of Us and Satisfaction.
