Bhowmick
Bhowmick (Bengali: ভৌমিক), also spelled Bhowmik or Bhaumik, is a native Bengali Hindu surname,[1] commonly found among the Bengalis of Bangladesh and Indian states of West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. The surname is found among the Bengali Kayastha, Mahishya as well as some Scheduled Castes of West Bengal and Bangladesh.[2]
