Subash Gautam

Subash C Gautam

Subash C Gautam is an Emirati doctor, and the founder and director of the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) programme in the United Arab Emirates. He has led the programme since 2004.[1]

Gautam has received the ATLS International Award,[better source needed][2] for his services to the ATLS Programme in the Middle East and Africa. He has worked on improving emergency and trauma services in India,[3] Pakistan,[4] Nigeria,[5] Lebanon, Syria and Oman.

Gautam is a founding member and former President of the Emirates Medical Association (Gastroenterology Division).[citation needed]
