Intoxicated is a song by Nigerian singer Oxlade featuring British rapper Dave.[1] It was produced by Spax, Deeyasso and The Kazes.[2][3]

Background[edit]

It was released in July 12, 2023.[4] The song is set to be featured on Oxlade's debut album, Oxlade From Africa. The song was released under Epic Records France. According to Adedayo Laketu from OkayAfrica, the song allows 'both artists express their desire for genuine connections and their weariness of navigating relationships through the lens of social media'.[5][6] Oxlade advertised the track weeks before he hinted to Guap Magazine that he was going to work with Dave.[7] On July 21, 2023, It debuted at No. 49 in the UK singles chart[8] and at No. 26 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs.[9]
