Ashanti Moore (born 7 November 2000) is Jamaican track and field athlete who competes as a sprinter.[1]

Career[edit]

In April 2023, Moore set a new 200m personal best time in consecutive weeks, running 22.62 in Waco, Texas and then following it up with a mark of 22.49 seconds for the 200 metres at the Texas Invitational event in Austin, Texas.[2] At that event she also won the 100 metres, running a seasons-best 11.12 seconds.[3] In July 2023, she ran a new personal best 100m time of 11.06 seconds to finish in sixth place in the final at the Jamaican national championships held in Kingston, Jamaica.[4]

Moore was selected to compete in the 200 metres at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August, 2023.[5] She finished fifth in her heat, running 23.12 seconds.[6]
