39°01′51″N 56°03′39″E / 39.030816°N 56.060946°E / 39.030816; 56.060946 Parau is a village in the Balkan Province of Turkmenistan.[1] It is adjacent to a hillock, atop which stands the Parau Bibi Mausoleum, argued to be among the most revered shrines in the country; the village itself has the Parau Ata Mausoleum.[1][2] The nearest town is Gyzylarbat.[1]
