Mewaram Jain (born 7 June 1953) is an Indian politician, was third term as Member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly 2008. He is from Barmer, Rajasthan.[4] He was represents Barmer as Member of Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan.jain is the main defendant in the 2023 Barmer rape case and child abuse [5] and booked under the POCSO Act .[6][7][8][9][10]
2023 Rape case[edit]
Jodhpur Police has registered a case against nine people including former Barmer MLA Mevaram Jain. [11] Mevaram and his associate are accused of raping a woman and her minor daughter.[12] The remaining 7 people are accused of supporting those two accused.[13][14]
Viral MMS Videos[edit]
Two viral social media videos show Mewaram Jain engaging in obscene acts with a woman, who herself captured the video. Jain enters the room, talks, drinks water, and indulges in the act.[15][16][17]
