View Media Group (VMG) is an Australian real estate digital media and technology services business comprising a suite of property technology (proptech) assets, headquartered in Melbourne.[1][2]

Proptech assets within the group include consumer portals (View.com.au,[3][4][5][6] & Apartments & Developments), ad tech (Acquire), lead generation, lead management services, media planning and buying (The Today Business), generative AI services (Propic) and propensity models.

History[edit]

View Media Group was founded in August 2022, as a privately held company previously registered as IMP[7].VMG is owned by 20 Cashews Pty Ltd, an entity which is jointly owned 50% by Antony Catalano and 50% by Alex Waislitz’s private Thorney Investment Group and the publicly listed Thorney Opportunities Ltd.[8]

In 2022 VMG acquired the proptech companies The Today Business (TTB),[9][10] and AD Group[11]

Following launch, Seven West Media via its Seven West Ventures subsidiary and ANZ Group Holdings Ltd (ANZ),[12][13][14][15][16][17] obtained equity in VMG. The combined investment from all parties saw the total cash and media spend available to VMG of over $100 million.[9]

Catalano and Waislitz also share joint ownership of Australian Community Media (ACM).[18]

In September 2023, VMG launched a real estate portal, view.com.au.[6]
