Ver v chudesa (Russian: Верь в чудеса; transl. Believe in miracles) is a fifth studio album by Russian singer Kristina Orbakaitė, released in 2002 by NOX Music [bg]. The album includes such hits as "Da-di-dam", "Moy mir" and "Lyubov, kotoroy bolshe net", which became winners of the Golden Gramophone Award[1][2] and Pesnya goda.[3][4][5]

Critical reception[edit]

Tatiana Davydova, in her review for InterMedia, noted that if the main principle of show business is "cherchez la hit", then the album Ver v chudesa is what you need, because there "a hit sits on a hit and drives a hit". In general, she rated the songs from the album average, highlighting only "Moy mir", calling it a "masterpiece". Summing up, she said that if Ver v chudesa is the pinnacle of Orbakaitė's creativity, then in the future it will be difficult for her to find a "higher hill".[6]

Alexander Murzak from Zvuki.ru called the album "a typical product of brutal Russian show business", made according to the formula "something was embezzled, something was stolen, the rest was somehow born on its own".[7]
