Naghan District (Persian: بخش ناغان) is in Kiar County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Naghan.[3]

After the 2006 census, Kiar District of Shahrekord County; and Mashayekh Rural District, Naghan Rural District and the city of Naghan were separated from Ardal County in the establishment of Kiar County, which was divided into two districts and five rural districts, with Shalamzar as its capital.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 15,507 people in 3,955 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 15,957 inhabitants living in 4,695 households.[2]
