Lumpi-ProVacInd
Lumpi-ProVacInd is a live attenuated vaccine for cattle, made by two institutes of Indian Council of Agricultural Research[1][2] for prevention of Lumpy skin disease outbreak in India.[3][4] It is planned for commercial launch in early 2023.[5][6] It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi[7] and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.[8] Studies concluded that it is 100 percent effective for the prevention of the disease,[9] which complies with all government vaccine standards.[10] It is similar to the vaccines for tuberculosis and rubella.[1]
