Friedenau SC Excelsior Berlin is a German football club based in the district of Friedenau in Berlin. It was also one of the 86 founding clubs of the DFB.[citation needed] The club was founded in 1920 and currently competes in the Berlin-Liga, which is the sixth tier of the German football league system.[citation needed]

Friedenau SC Excelsior Berlin was established in 1920 by a group of football enthusiasts from the Friedenau district. The club initially played friendly matches against local teams before joining organized league competitions.[citation needed] In the early years, the club experienced moderate success, primarily competing in lower divisions of Berlin's football pyramid.[citation needed]

During the 1950s and 1960s, Friedenau SC Excelsior Berlin achieved promotion to higher divisions and participated in regional cup competitions. However, the club was unable to secure promotion to higher national leagues.[citation needed]

In recent years, Friedenau SC Excelsior Berlin has established itself as a regular participant in the Berlin-Liga, the sixth tier of German football.[citation needed]
