Pinewood School is an additional needs school in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland.

The school was founded in 1973 and was renovated in 2010/16 and a £5.8 million extension was completed in June 2022.[1][2]

News coverage[edit]

in 2013, West Lothain Council have been met with strong opposition after a proposal to move primary school students moved from Pinewood to Ogilvie School Campus in Livingston.[3]

In 2014, Pupils from Pinewood School showcased their latest project: two short films entitled ‘Over the Top’ and ‘UFO’, at Bathgate’s Regal Theatre.[4]

In 2018, Pupils from Pinewood Won a Scotland-wide garden design competition and their design was put on display in Edinburgh.[5]
