Qaleh (Persian: قلعه), also Romanized as Qal‘eh; also known as Kāl,[3] was a village in, and former capital of, Badr Rural District of the Central District of Ghorveh County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Veyhaj.[5] The village was populated by Gorans.[6]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 4,029 in 995 households.[2]
