Vexillum mirabile, common name : miraculous mitre, is a species of small sea snail, marine gastropod mollusk in the family Costellariidae, the ribbed miters.[1]

Description[edit]

The shell size varies between 33 mm and 66 mm

The shell is yellowish white, stained or strigated with brown. [2]

Distribution[edit]

This species occurs in the Red Sea, in the Indian Ocean off the Mascarene Basin and Madagascar, in the Pacific Ocean off the Philippines and Thailand and the Tuamotus; also off Australia (Queensland, Western Australia).[citation needed]
