Sadia Faizunnesa is a Bangladeshi diplomat and the current ambassador of Bangladesh to Brazil since 2021.[2][3] Prior to this position, she served as the Consul General of Bangladesh in New York from June 2018 to October 2021.[4]

Background[edit]

Sadia Faizunnesa earned her MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College under the University of Dhaka and her master's in development studies from BRAC University.[3]

Career[edit]

Faizunnesa belonged to the 18th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service Foreign Affairs cadre. She joined the Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1999.[4]
