Rana Goswami (born 12 November 1959) is an Indian Politician of Bharatiya Janata Party from Assam. He is the Working President of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee until February 28, 2024. He joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP State President Bhabesh Kalita in Guwahati on February 29, 2024.[1]

Political career[edit]

He has been elected twice – in Assam legislative assembly election, 2006 and in 2011 – to the Assam Legislative Assembly from Jorhat constituency.[2] On 24 July 2021, he was appointed Working President of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee.
