On defense he totaled 45 tackles and seven sacks.[4] On August 4, 2020, the sixteen year old, Campbell would receive his top offer to play football at Clemson,[5] where Campbell would initially decide to commit to play college football at.[6][7] However, Campbell would decide to de-commit from the University of Clemson, and re-open his commitment.[8] Campbell would then decide to commit to play football for the University of Alabama.[9][10]
