Ömer Suner

Ömer Suner (born 1976)[1] is a Turkish entrepreneur and business executive in the financial technology and marketing sectors. He is the Global CEO of Ozan Elektronik Para.[2]

Early life and education[edit]

Ömer Suner was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Yıldız Technical University Department of Economics and later pursued a master's degree in Business Administration from Yeditepe University. He also completed the Endeavour Growth Program at Stanford University, focusing on growth strategies.[1]

Career[edit]

From 2000 to 2005, Suner worked at Turkish Economy Bank (Turkish: Türk Ekonomi Bankası; TEB), later acquired by BNP Paribas, where he managed alternative distribution channels, including online and mobile banking, call center, and ATM Network.[1][3]

Following his tenure at TEB/BNP Paribas, he joined Samsung Electronics Turkey in 2005 as a Senior Marketing Director. During his 8-year tenure, he focused on Samsung's growth in the region.[4][5][6][1]

In 2012, Suner co-founded Ininal, a financial technology company in Turkey and the region. Ömer Suner served as CEO and board member for eight years.[7][8][9][10]

In March 2020, Suner assumed the position of Global CEO at Ozan Elektronik Para, an electronic money institution. He oversees Ozan's expansion through licenses, partnerships and new product offerings in Turkey and other markets.[1][11][12][13][14][15]
