Shree Gowri is an Indian television drama in the Kannada language which premiered on Colors Kannada from 29 January 2024.[1]

Plot[edit]

Set against the scenic coastal Karnataka, Shreegowri is the story of Appu, whose life changes when his mother falls ill. To save her, he has to fulfill an obligation to pursue his love for Gowri, an independent girl who longs for an honest relationship, having an ailment that forms the crux of the story.

Every night, Gowri is captured with sleep waking, a disease that her family hides from others and the only reason why she is still unmarried. Appu, not in favour of marriage, is compelled by his ageing mother to marry.
