Basht District (Persian: بخش باشت) is a former administrative division of Gachsaran County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Basht.^[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 22,170 in 4,309 households.^[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Basht County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Basht as its capital and only city at the time.^[4]
