Habibullah Khan Swati II

Habibullah Khan Swati II also known as Habibullah Khan The Second (اردو: حبیب اللّٰہ خان سواتی ثانی) is a Pakistani politician, 11th "Khan of Garhi Habibullah Khan", 8th honoury "Nawab of Neelishang-Rajdahani tribal territory" and 14th Chief of Swati tribe after the re-conquest of Pakhli (Mansehra district and Battagram district) by Swatis.[1][2]

Habibullah Khan Swati is also the current head of imperial House of Pakhal which ruled over Sultanate of Swat from c 1190 to 1519.

Khan is successor of Babar Naseem Khan, who also remained Food Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and member of Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the 2 times consecutively.[3]

Legacy[edit]

Habibullah Khan enjoys the honoury rights of being the tribal Chief by the government of Pakistan with having permission of carrying license free arms openly in public. He is only premium member of State Bank of Pakistan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Khan's is head of lineage which ruled Sultanate of Swat from c 1190 to 1519, Dir 1519 to 1640, Pakhli 1644 to 1846 and Neelishang-Rajdahani area along with Khanate of Garhi Habibullah from 1846 to 1969.

Khan's family remained first biggest Jagirdar of NWFP Province from 1901 to 1950.

Habibullah Khan's lineage also had Victoria-cross life-time membership for contributions in World war I by his great-great-grandfather Khan Muhammad Hussain Khan who was the 9th Chief of Swati tribe.
