Sahandabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان سهندآباد)[3] is in Tekmeh Dash District of Bostanabad County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Qarah Chay-ye Hajj Ali.[5]

At the census of 2006, its population was 2,862 in 610 households.[6] There were 2,760 inhabitants in 789 households at the following census of 2011.[7] In the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,101 in 575 households. The most populous of its 27 villages was Qarah Chay-ye Hajj Ali, with 407 people.[2]
