Ojarud-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان اجارود شمالي) is in the Central District of Germi County,[3] Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Shakar Ab.[4]

At the census of 2006, its population was 4,041 in 771 households.[5] There were 3,528 inhabitants in 877 households at the following census of 2011.[6] In the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,832 in 802 households. The most populous of its 30 villages was Shakar Ab, with 311 people.[2]
