Meylişah Hatun

Meylişah Hatun (died after 1621) named also Meleksima was a consort of the Ottoman sultan Osman II.[1]

She was possibly from Serbia. As was customarly for the consorts of Ottoman sultans, she fell victim to the slave trade and was placed in the Ottoman Imperial Harem, were she became the concubine of Osman II. She was described as the favorite consort of the sultan.

She was the mother of Şehzade Ömer.
