Ayithampudi is located at Iragavaram mandal in the West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India just west of the river Godavari. It is one of the oldest settlements beside Pekeru town and Eletipadu. Historically, Ayithampudi main industry is agriculture and small businesses.
Demographics[edit]
As of 2011[update] Census of India, Ayithampudi had a population of 1241. The total population constitute, 603 males and 638 females with sex Ratio of 1058 which is higher than Andhra Pradesh state average of 993. Child Sex Ratio for the Ayithampudi as per census is 857, lower than Andhra Pradesh average of 939. The average literacy rate stands at 83.21%.[1]
