Federal Government Girls' College, Calabar is a federal government-owned all girls school located in Calabar, a town and local government area of Cross River State, Southern Nigeria.[1] The institution was established in 1973.[2]

The school is a co-educational boarding and day school for children aged from 11 to 18 years. In line with the diktats of the National Policy of Education, the college teaches the Nigerian Curriculum for Junior and Senior Secondary Schools.[2] It is one of over 100 Federal Government owned unity schools managed by the Federal Ministry of Education, Nigeria.[3]
