Vinton E. Howell

Vinton E. Howell (November 30, 1840 - ?) was a sheriff, businessman, and state senator in Illinois. He fought in the Civil War.[1]

He was born on a farm in Licking County, Ohio.[1] He served in the Illinois Volunteer Infantry.[1] From 1886 to 1890 he was sheriff of McLean County.[1] He served in the Illinois Senate in 1893 and 1895. He was a Republican.[2]
