Yatindra Nath Varma

Yatindra Nath Varma (born c. 1975) is a Mauritian politician.

Varma graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 1998 with a bachelor of laws degree.[1][2] He represented the Labour Party in the 2005 Mauritian general election.[3] He was appointed Minister of Justice in 2010,[4] and served until 2013.

Jean Florent Joseph Jeannot accused Varma of assault in 2014, stemming from an incident in May 2013. Charges against Varma were dropped in July 2014.[5][6]
