James Thomas Ruggieri (born January 12, 1968) is an American priest of the Catholic Church who serves as bishop for the Diocese of Portland.

Biography[edit]

On June 24, 1995, Ruggieri was ordained to the priesthood.

Episcopal career[edit]

Pope Francis appointed Ruggieri bishop for the Diocese of Portland on February 13, 2024.[1][2][3] On May 7, 2024, Ruggieri was consecrated as a bishop.
