Eugenio Sena (born 19 December 1991) is an Italian professional football manager who currently manages Cypriot Second Division side Podosfairikos Omilos Xylotymbou 2006.

Career[edit]

Sena has held various coaching positions with clubs in several countries including Italy, Hungary, Australia, China, Russia, England, Montenegro, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Georgia and Scotland.

During graduating in Sport Science and Exercise, he was an intern for a Football Club Internazionale Milano foundation center. His first venture into management was with the Debreceni VSC youth team in 2014 for one season, being scout as well.[2]

In 2015, Sena moved to Australia to coach for several clubs in academy and first teams, including NPL teams Fraser Park FC and Dunbar Rovers FC.

After that he has coached in Juventus Football Club academy international holding positions as technical director, chief scout and others in: China, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland and Georgia.

In 2018, Sena worked at AC ChievoVerona youth teams for a season before he was on the move again.[3]

Sena arrived in England in 2019 to coach the youth team of Yeovil, also he has been appointed as Head of Analysis. He spent a season with the club before departing.[4]

Montenegro was the next destination for Sena. He was appointed as assistant manager of FK Obilić.[5]He remained at the club for a season before departing for Saudi Arabia.

In 2021, Sena was appointed as assistant manager of Saudi First Division League side Al Faisaly, working under Paolo Tramezzani.[6]

After a short spell in Saudi Arabia, Sena was appointed as first team manager of Greek side AEP Kozani in 2022.[7][8]

Sena was appointed as first team assistant coach and analyst at Scottish Premiership side Livingston in July 2023.[9]After a season working under David Martindale, Sena left Livi after accepting an offer to become first team manager of Podosfairikos Omilos Xylotymbou 2006 in Second League in Cyprus.[10][11]
