Shailer Park State High School is a public, co-educational high school located in Shailer Park, Queensland, Australia.[1] It is administered by the Department of Education, with an enrolment of 1115 students and a teaching staff of 95, as of 2023.[2]
History[edit]
It was the first school to operate in Shailer Park,[3] being established on 29 January 1980.[4][5] In 2009, Shailer Park was one of 32 schools to take part in a welfare scheme.[6] In 2019, A 12-year-old student had been charged for allegedly stabbing a 13-year-old classmate in the back.[7][8][9] As of October 2023, the school was in the process of installing vape and smoke detectors in the school bathrooms.[10]
