softgarden e-recruiting GmbH is a Berlin-based company that develops recruitment software.[1][2][3][4][5]

Overview[edit]

softgarden e-recruiting GmbH was founded in Saarbrücken in 2003.[6] In March 2014, softgarden e-recruiting merged with 1000jobboersen.de (a job ad media planning service). The combined company closed a "seven-figure" funding round from investors Cipio Partners and Alexander Brühl.[7][8]

In 2018, softgarden e-recruiting was acquired by Investcorp Technology Partners (ITP) as part of its Investcorp Technology Partners Fund IV.[9][10][11][12]

In November 2019, the company received the HR Excellence Award 2019 as the best HR management software.[13]

In 2021, it launched its The Talent Acquisition Suite, a collection of recruiting tools including an applicant tracking system (ATS). It is designed for corporate recruiting processes[14][15] and includes sourcing, employer branding and applicant management.[16][17][18]

In 2021, softgarden e-recruiting acquired absence.io, integrating features like time tracking, vacation and absence management, and digital HR management into its product offering.[9][19][20]

In June 2022, Investcorp Technology Partners (ITP) sell softgarden e-recruiting GmbH to Grupa Pracuj.[9][21][22][23][24][25] It was 98.95 percent owned by a by Investcorp.[21]

According to the Fosway 9-Grid Recruiting Report 2022 and 2023, softgarden e-recruiting is one of the core leaders among European providers of talent acquisition suites.[26]
