Location of Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands

Vichina Cove (Bulgarian: залив Вичина, romanizedzaliv Vichina, IPA: [ˈzaliv ˈvit͡ʃinɐ]) is the 3 km wide cove indenting for 1 km the southeast coast of Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. It is entered east of Slavotin Point and west of Burney Point. The area was visited by early 19th century sealers.[1]

The feature is named after the fortified city of Vichina in medieval Northeastern Bulgaria, and in association with other Bulgarian historical names in the area.
