History[edit]
In 1976, the brothers split with Abdul Rahim and Abdul Latif retaining the business by buying out Abdul Wahab.[1]
In 2006, the government of Dubai took a 30 per cent stake in the conglomerate. It was reported the 30 per cent stake replaced Galadari's debt to the government and other companies. A court-appointed by Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, first restructured the group and then replaced the board with a three-member temporary board.[2]

Heavy Equipment Division
Galadari’s Heavy Equipment Division is renowned for providing leading world-class brands in heavy earthmoving, construction, power systems and materials handling equipment, and is the exclusive and sole distributors of brands such as Komatsu, Bomag, JCB, Sitrak, Genie and Atlas Copco and proudly hold the leading market share within the UAE, providing many customers with the ability to execute world-class projects.
Food and Beverage
Galadari Food & Beverage Division is the largest master franchisee for the Baskin-Robbins brand globally, with a 1200+ growing portfolio of stores across 10 geographies, serving over 133 million scoops yearly. It also proudly operates Dunkin’, KyoChon, Shabestan, and a home-grown concept Halla Shawarma. Today, the Food & Beverage Division holds the largest store network in the Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) industry in the Gulf Region with a plan to expand further through adding more leading brands to its portfolio across additional geographies.
Motors
Galadari’s Motors Division has established itself as a pioneer in automotive sales and earned the trust of thousands of satisfied customers by tirelessly following their customer first approach and delivering value added motoring experiences with over 50 years of valued partnership with Mazda, more than 550 employees and 15 facilities across the UAE. The Motors Division is also home to other iconic brands like Kawasaki and Ziebart.
Engineering
Galadari’s Engineering Division has handled projects of all scales and sizes in commercial and industrial sectors, with its signature is visible across the UAE in various structures including iconic buildings, bridges, stadiums, warehouses, shopping complexes, power, oil and gas facilities, railways, residential projects and more. The division has been involved in some of the most prestigious projects in the region such as Etihad Rail, Seven Residences Palm, Al Zahia City Center Mall and the Dubai Mall Footbridge.
