Ogled Peak
Ogled Peak (Bulgarian: връх Оглед, romanized: vrah Ogled, IPA: [ˈvrɤx ˈɔɡlɛt]) is the ice-covered peak rising to 848 m[1] in the north foothills of Louis-Philippe Plateau on Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land, Antarctica. It is overlooking Bransfield Strait to the north.
The peak is named after the settlement of Ogled in Southern Bulgaria.
Location[edit]
Ogled Peak is located at 63°30′20.5″S 58°18′18″W / 63.505694°S 58.30500°W, which is 3.66 km northwest of Tintyava Peak, 12.11 km north of Hochstetter Peak and 10.76 km northeast of Lardigo Peak. German-British mapping in 1996.
